Because we understand that “your old frame” can mean more than just a frame

Lens Replacement Service

How Our Lens Replacement Works

Finding the perfect frame isn’t easy. Some fit just right; others hold years of good memories. That’s why we offer “new lenses in your existing frame”
so you can keep wearing the glasses you love. Whether you need prescription lenses, blue-light filtering lenses or any specialty lens, our experts will check that your frame suits the new lenses and advise you with care in every detail.

STEP 1

Bring your frame to our staff in store

  • Hand the frame you’d like re-lensed to our staff, who will check the condition of the frame and lenses and discuss what you need. Frames that have been worn for a long time can wear out or be damaged when lenses are removed and fitted, so we always assess whether a frame is still fit for continued use.

STEP 2

Eye Test

  • Next, we re-check your eyesight, using your current lenses as a reference. If your prescription hasn’t changed, we can simply use your existing one.

STEP 3

Choose Your Lenses – Collect Your Glasses

  • If the lenses are in stock and ready to fit, you can wait and collect your glasses within 30 minutes of payment. Specialty lenses, such as progressive or tinted lenses, may take 7–10 days. Your lenses are also covered by a 1-year warranty from the day you collect your glasses. Find out more at Our Warranty

Lens Replacement Q&A

Can I bring in a frame from another brand or shop for new lenses?

Yes. You’re welcome to bring frames bought elsewhere for new lenses. We recommend bringing the frame in first so our staff can check it’s suitable, as some frame shapes or materials can’t safely take new lenses.

Yes. If you already have your prescription (from a prescription slip or your previous lenses), we can make new lenses to it straight away. For accuracy, and to be sure your eyesight hasn’t changed, we recommend an eye test before we make your lenses, at no extra cost.

If your new glasses don’t feel comfortable, we’ll gladly check and adjust them free of charge. Discomfort can have several causes, such as an incorrect prescription, misaligned lens centres, or simply getting used to a new lens type. Our after-sales care is here to make sure you’re completely happy.

For the most accurate results, we recommend that you:
  • Rest your eyes well before your test

  • If you wear contact lenses, remove them at least 1–2 hours beforehand

  • Bring your current glasses or prescription (if you have one) to help with the assessment

  • Let our staff know before the test if you have headaches, blurred vision or frequently changing eyesight
